Tech and Performance Assistant

One or more members of The Crew @ Schapiro will be assigned to shifts while your show is in tech and performances. This student does not work for your production, but for the space. They are responsible for ensuring all people are using the space correctly and safely. Use this team member to answer questions and receive guidance on best practices.

Front of House & Box Office

For performances, The Crew @ Schapiro representative will open the space 2 hours before curtain. They can assist the Stage Manager until 1 hour before curtain. They will open the box office 1 hour before curtain and will assist the Producer with box office duties. They will have access to the Schapiro Box Office email ([email protected]) that should be given access to ticket form editing and attendance lists. This Crew Member will assist in managing the attendance list as audiences arrive. 

Post Performance Strike

The Crew @ Schapiro representative will assist the company strike after the final performance. They will have a checklist to accomplish before the company can be released from the space.  All personal items must be removed from the building after the final performance unless prior arrangements are made with Production Management. 

ALL company members must stick around to help strike after the Saturday Night Performance. Everyone must work as a team to complete all strike tasks and be released together by the Schapiro crew member working that evening.
