Theatre Program Academic Wiki

The Columbia University School of the Arts Theatre Student Handbook contains useful information and resources from the Theatre Program, the School of the Arts (“School”), and Columbia University as a whole. It also sets forth the academic, behavioral, and professional expectations the Program has of its students, both in and out of the classroom. It has been crafted over time – based on best practices, input from faculty, staff, and students, and the lived experiences of past and current members of the Theatre Program. This handbook is essential for maintaining the integrity of the School’s educational programs in addition while mirroring the standards of the profession.

As a student of Columbia University School of the Arts Theatre Program, you should be knowledgeable of the Handbook’s contents. These guidelines are subject to change and revision as necessary. While updates will be communicated as needed, the most up-to-date version of the Handbook will live online.

Sincerely,
