Peter Vaughan  
Director of Motion Picture, Instructional and Information Technology

Peter Vaughan started making movies in his backyard when he was 7 and he’s still doing it. He studied dramatic writing at the Goodman School of Drama and Film at Hunter College. He learned everything he knows about life as a UPS driver and Teamster Organizer.  He has worked as DoP, Colorist, Editor and a lot of other jobs in the film industry.  He is a Davinci Resolve Certified Trainer. These days he concentrates on  Post Supervising Independent Features.  He has delivered Films to Netflix, Amazon, Sundance, NYFF, TIFF, Palm Springs among many others. 

Michael Cacioppo Belantara
Assistant Director of Motion Picture Technology and Post Production Supervisor

Michael is an audiovisual artist, sound designer and technical specialist with a wide range of professional experience in the sonic and visual arts. His expertise in audio and video post production is notable through his work with the European Broadcasting Union during 6 Olympic Games and 2 World Alpine Ski Championships. His sound design has featured in Universal Ear, the serial sci-fi adventure from L’Institute Zoom and in One Day Film’s award-winning release The Raven on the Jetty. An Avid, Apple and Davinci Resolve certified instructor, he is currently the Post Production Supervisor and Assistant Director of Instructional and Information Technology for Columbia University School of the Arts and Adjunct Professor of Post Production for the Columbia University Graduate Film Program. He is a founding member of the sonic art collective Kinokophone and serves as co-owner and Post Sound Supervisor for Alchemist Post Solutions.

Geetika Kumar
Assistant Director of Motion Picture Technology- Operations and Inventory

Geetika Kumar graduated with her BFA in Film and Television from New York University Tisch School of the Arts. Her cinematography specializes in shooting dance/music videos, narrative films, and documentaries. Her main goal is to capture both natural and choreographed movement of life.

Kai Miedenorp
Assistant Director of Motion Picture Technology - Technical Training and Quality Control

Kai Miedendorp is an Emmy nominated cinematographer with over 20 years of professional experience in film and television. He received his MFA in Cinematography from the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb) and completed exchange programs in film and video art at both FAMU in Prague and at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts).  His work has encompassed a wide range of formats and genres and has been screened at venues such as Art Basel, Aichi Triennale, Kunsthaus Graz and at the International Film Festivals of Busan, Chicago, Montreal and Mumbai.

Liz Zito
Manager, Visual Arts Instructional Technology and Exhibitions

Liz Zito is a multimedia artist and humorist based in Brooklyn, NY.  She received her MFA from the School of Visual Arts Photography, Video and Related Media in 2015.  Her pop-up performances focus on subverting socio-political systems, most recently "Mueller Report Fan Fiction" was featured in the Washington Post and NBC Nightly news in 2019. 

Brian Veslor
Equipment Prep and Inventory Assistant

Brian Velsor is a writer/director from New Jersey and an alum of the MFA Film program at Columbia University (SOA ‘20).  He also holds a BA degree in Film Studies and English from Wesleyan University where his short thesis film won the NNK Award for Best Screenplay.  Brian’s films have screened at festivals across the country, including in his home borough of Brooklyn, NY.
