Payroll Services - Cloned

When paying SAG actors under the Student or Micro Budget agreement – SAG requires that you must pay them through a payroll company that processes both contracts. Please note that not all of them do. See below for options for payroll services that offer CU students discounts and processes both contracts. More will be added.

If using NPI – please write with the Discount Sheet attached to the email from your CU email address, and answer the following questions:

  • Working through Columbia University for a Student Project
  • What is the name of the production company?
  • What is the title of the project?
  • In which state are you filming?
  • What is your estimated start date?
  • What is your estimated end date?
  • Is this a non union project or SAG?
  • If SAG, under which budget are you working (Short, ULB, MLB, etc.)?
  • If SAG, who is your SAG rep?
  • Approximately how many cast members will you have?
  • What are the estimated gross wages of just your cast?
  • Will you be putting any crew through payroll?
  • If so, are they union or non union?
  • If so, approximately how many crew members will you have?
  • If so, what are your estimated gross wages of just the crew?
  • Will you have any stunts or use of any firearms (real or prop)?
