Obtaining Rights

If rights are required for the use of a work, the Program will procure them for you. However, we need a minimum of eight (8) weeks before Opening Night. Once a title and/or translation is submitted, it cannot change. Be confident your choice is the final one before officially requesting to obtain the rights. Each student has a limit of $500 to use for each Materials and Chekhov project which includes rights and scripts. All Terms and Conditions specified in the Performance Rights License must be strictly adhered to, or risk legal action.

Rights must be secure before rehearsals can begin.
