Facilities

The Theatre Program’s campus stretches between the Morningside and Manhattanville campus, as well as New York City at large. It is important to pay attention to the address of all courses, rehearsals, and workshops, as travel time can be substantial.

2960 Broadway, 6th Floor (at 116th Street)

Hours: 8AM-11PM

This is the hub of the Theatre Program. Student mailboxes, the copy machine, and printers available for student use are all housed here.

3280 Broadway, 5th Floor (between 132nd & 133rd Streets)

Hours: 10AM-9:45PM

This building hosts other Columbia departments and non-Columbia businesses. Only Columbia students, faculty, and staff are allowed entry, and only with a CUID. The names of any guests, along with their Columbia-affiliated hosts and reason for visit, must be submitted to the security guard on duty in advance.

605 West 115th Street, lower level (between Broadway and Riverside Drive)

Hours: M-F 10AM-11PM, Weekends 11AM-11PM

This building also serves as a student dorm and houses music practice rooms; these spaces are off-limits to Theatre Program students.

Hours: Monday-Saturdays 8AM-11:59PM, Sundays 6PM-11:59PM

13T is only available 6PM-11:59PM each day.

Though these spaces have been procured to support the Theatre Program, we are the guests of Riverside Church and should always act accordingly. That means that only Columbia students, faculty, and staff are allowed into the building and you must show your CUID. Note that this building has no wi-fi capability.

This is the School of the Arts’ newest building, designed by renown architect Renzo Piano.

  • thesis productions
  • program- and school-wide events
